Everyone should be able to read a document you send.

Your client did not choose MeloDocs — you did. So the pages we put in front of them have to work on whatever they are using, however they are reading.

Our target

WCAG 2.1 Level AA, for the marketing site, the workspace and — above all — the pages your clients receive.

  • Colour is never the only signal. Included and excluded lists carry glyphs, status is carried by text as well as a dot, and a chart is never the only place a number appears.
  • Contrast is measured, not eyeballed. Body text, muted text and text over artwork are all checked against a 4.5:1 floor, including white titles sitting on image scrims.
  • Controls are real controls. Buttons are buttons, links are links, and inputs have labels — so a keyboard and a screen reader both find them.
  • Focus is always visible. Every interactive element shows a focus ring, and the site never removes one without replacing it.
  • Motion respects the system setting. Animation is disabled underprefers-reduced-motion, including the homepage’s document assembly and the wave background.
  • Light and dark are both supported, and the paper in a document stays white in both — because a printed or forwarded quote should not change colour.

Not yet

What an audit would find, listed here rather than discovered by someone who needed it to work.

  • No third-party audit has been commissioned. Everything above is self-assessed. When an independent audit happens, its findings will be summarised here.
  • The takeoff canvas is not keyboard operable. Drawing and editing measurements on a plan is a pointer interaction today. Reviewing, calibrating and exporting a takeoff do not require it.
  • Drag-to-reorder in the builder has no keyboard equivalent yet. Every block can still be added, edited and removed without dragging.
  • Exported PDFs are not tagged. A generated PDF carries its text but not a full structure tree, so screen-reader navigation inside an exported file is limited. The share link is the accessible version of any document.

We reply within one business day, and if something is blocking you from reading or signing a document you were sent, say so in the subject line — that jumps the queue, because it is somebody else’s paperwork and they cannot choose a different tool.
